Ensuring security of our data
SMTPS will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information that we hold about you is kept confidential and secure, including by:
- Using 2FA for logins to databases
- Disabling database access from outside our internal servers
- Using secure and randomised >32 character legnth password for any logins
- Working with reliable Australian server hosting who use datacenters with physical and digital security
- Limiting database and account access to strictly necessary users.

The SMTPS website uses cookies. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers the website puts on your device if you allow it. These cookies recognise when your device has visited our website(s) before, so we can distinguish you from other users of the website. This improves your experience and the SMTPS website(s).
We do not use cookies to identify you, we only use cookies as a Session ID for login and authentication purposes. Retention of personal information
We will not keep your personal information for longer than we need to. In most cases, this means that we will only retain your personal information for the duration of your relationship with us. Your account may be deleted if we believe your account has been accessed by someone other then the original owner. Your account may be deleted after 1 year of inactivity to ensure security of the SMTPS site.
